Michele McPeak Cromer

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Michele received her BA from Allegheny College in 1989 and her JD from the Capital University of Law School in Columbus, Ohio in 1992. During law school, Michele joined GTN as a law clerk starting in 1990 working for Larry Gaitens. It was while working with Larry that she grew to love the family atmosphere of GTN that encompasses attorneys, staff, and clients. After graduating law school and upon being admitted to the Bar in 1992, she joined GTN full-time as an associate. That same year, Michele was admitted to the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and the United States District Court (Western District PA).

During her first 10 years with GTN, Michele discovered her passion for representing clients over the course of their life and for all major life events. To better serve her clients, she was granted admission to the United States Supreme Court in 1997 and went on to join Vince and Romel as a partner of GTN in 2002. She found her niche serving the Pittsburgh community and its surrounding areas and is a proud member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Throughout the course of her career, she has been involved in multiple aspects of the legal community in Pittsburgh. From participating as a faculty member with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy in 1999 to lecturing on a variety of topics with local groups (i.e. the Successful Money Management Lecture Series on estate planning issues, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Powers of Attorney, the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors annual spring conference for other solicitors, and to managers and staff of Pennsylvania municipalities, to name a few), Michele constantly seeks out ways to serve the Greater Pittsburgh area using her legal career.

Michele's love for the Pittsburgh community extends past her work with GTN. She was a contributor and co-host of Healthy, Wealthy and Wise; a Woman's Guide to Maximizing Her Assets monthly radio show from 1998 through 2003. She was also the author of a monthly column for the Pittsburgh Boomer magazine from 1999 through 2007.

Michele is a lifelong resident of the Highland Park Neighborhood where she resides with her husband and three children. She is actively involved with Sacred Heart Parish in Shadyside.
