Thomas P. McDermott serves as Municipal Solicitor and Litigator and concentrates his practice in municipal law.
Mr. McDermott attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, graduating cum laude and a member of the Order of Coif. Attorney McDermott was granted partnership in Gaitens, Tucceri & Nicholas in 2009.
While attending law school, Mr. McDermott worked under the Chief Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of Attorney General, where he gained extensive experience participating with staff attorneys defending the Commonwealth and its public officials on civil rights cases, discrimination claims, and complex tort and other civil litigation.
Mr. McDermott is a member of the American Bar Association, as well as the Bar Association for Pennsylvania and for Allegheny County. He belongs to the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Solicitors and volunteers his expert advice for various community projects.
Mr. McDermott serves as Municipal Solicitor and Litigator at GTN, concentrating his practice in municipal law, representing First Class and Second Class Townships and Boroughs in both mature and fast-growing communities. He's also handled many Land Use cases in complex zoning and other developmental issues.
