Necessasry Policy Updates for Automobile Dealers in 2021

Posted by Victor Kustra | May 06, 2021 | 0 Comments

Automobile dealers are subject to some of the strictest Federal and State regulations of any industry. The degree to which these regulations are enforced often changes with changes in elected offices. President Biden has made it clear through his appointments to various Federal agencies, such as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, that the feds will be cracking down on automobile dealer compliance. That being said, automobile dealers should make sure that they have an updated handbook and/or policy manual addressing areas of compliance, including but not limited to:

- Social Media

- Advertising Practices

- Fair Lending

- Voluntary Protection Plans
