
Michael recently joined GTN Law as an associate attorney in 2021. His areas of concentration include the many facets of municipal law, as well as assisting local municipalities and authorities achieve environmental compliance for the benefit of all communities in and around Allegheny County. This experience serves him well in assisting clients with understanding and navigating local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Through understanding the needs of his clients, thorough research, and attention to detail, Michael ensures that the legal guidance he provides is up to date, persuasive, and effective in assisting his clients to achieve their goals. Michael has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis on Legal Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from California State University, Chico. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School.
Representative Experience
Michael has a background in civil litigation. He has extensive experience drafting pleadings and pre-trial motions. In addition, he has participated in depositions and mediations. Michael has successfully argued a number of motions before a judge. He has experience reviewing contracts submitted to local governments by private businesses, with a particular emphasis on assessing compliance with local municipal codes and public rights-of-way. In college, Michael worked at a legal non-profit organization as an intern and then a director, providing legal information to over 400 low-income, pro se clients.
