The attorneys at GTNlaw pride themselves in continuing academic pursuits, lecturing and publishing to stay current in the areas of law in which they practice.
Further, concerning lecture/presentation activities, Ms. Seymour and one of our partners, Romel L. Nicholas, routinely speak in the areas of litigation, land use and municipal matters. For example, during the 2010 annual Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Conference held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ms. Seymour and Mr. Nicholas co-chaired a lecture entitled “Pre, Pending and Post Municipal Authority Construction Related Issues.” This lecture was open to municipal and business leaders from across the state of Pennsylvania, and was credited as formal continuing legal education.
An article co-authored by Romel L. Nicholas and Christine M. Seymour was published in the April 2011 edition of the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association magazine entitled “Spring Fever - Learn the rules before you start to play.” The Authority magazine is a state wide publication in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Michele McPeak Cromer, a Partner at GTNlaw was a routine contributor to the Healthy, Wealthy and Wise radio broadcast (1998-2003) on the KQV radio station. Healthy, Wealthy and Wise boasted of Attorney Cromer as its legal expert along with a female physician and financial advisor. Attorney Cromer continues to take the Healthy, Wealthy and Wise issues on the road and routinely speaks to groups of women in regard to a variety of issues that effect women, including, but not limited to estate planning.
In 2008, the National Flag Foundation and GTNlaw coordinated the Rededication of the Boulevard of the Allies ceremony as part of the 250th birthday celebration of the City of Pittsburgh. A June 29, 2008 article from the International Herald Tribune, the Global Edition of the New York Times reported on the event. Further, during the 2009 G-20 Conference, which took place in Pittsburgh, the National Flag Foundation and GTNlaw co-hosted a major educational forum at the Carnegie Music Hall about the G-20, entitled: Challenges for G-20: Is the City of Champions the Black and Gold Standard for Global Economic Recovery?
